Hi my name is Lindsey. This was my favorite project i did in pltw. The goal of this project was to get a baseball to sit on a four story
tower made from gum drops and tooth picks. It was also easy
to do. At first we kept trying to figure out how we was gonna
do the tooth pick project. Our project had like little triangles
in each square.The first skill i learned about this project was that
i had think bout what i was going to do and how i was going to do it.
And i also learned if you try to work hard u might have a good outcome.
This was the paper tower competition. I remember when we had to do this project.We had to have the paper no taller then a certain extent it had to stand on its own but of course ours did not work.This project had to a certain height. The paper tower had to stand with a fan blowing on it then it had to stand with a metal piece banging it on the other side of the table. Me and Shanquel had to figure out if we wanted out paper tower to round or squared. So we decided to make the bottom like a square piece and the rest of the tower circled. But know when i think back on it i think that project would of been easier but i had no type of experience in tech ed engineering.
There was the fisher techicks project i did it was the hardest for me. One thing that confused me the most was getting all the materials to
work right by using the computer to help me use the program. The reason was to have a sensor sense a marble by color. Then a main thing
i have learned is that this project didnt look easy and it was defiently was that easy it was really hard.
